Hello,

i'm slowly losing the point of this discussion.
i'm not a lawyer, i'm only a programer and electronician.

i understand a good part of the industry's logic,
because i often deal with companies. that is where
it can start. NDA is NDA, that's all. GPL is GPL,
too, and fits to other usages. Now, because we attack
hardware designs, the patents are becoming worrying.

For the F-CPU, there are bith active and passive
ways to deal with the patent issue :
- publish everything, so it is prior art
- copyright and GPL are our friends
- make good standards that can be accepted
   by anybody, so the obscure standards are
   not preferred.

no need of NDA, huh ? or am i too tired ?...
