Hi,
This issue is also so important which may be the main
difference between hardware and software

1. we can not make any restriction on it using
copyright may be with patent and perfect with NDA.


2. There should be no restriction on the
implementation itself if it is done without
modification and with modification as long as the
implementer satisfy the other license terms.

3. The cost of selling the real hardware should not
include the R&D work. companies includes the cost od
design and software tools, debug,..... to teh overall
cost, but since this is an open source project no one
should include these costs unless he debugged for
example undebugged project.

4. think why companies do not open source their
designs, or even any one,  because they afraid that
others will implement and sell them
