Alice is a compiler for the OpenVera language.
OpenVera is a high level, object oriented language useful for verification of integrated circuits written in Verilog or VHDL. It is designed to run alongside a hardware simulation. Formerly a proprietary language, Synopsys has opened the language specification to third party development, in order to promote it as a standard.
The project is currently in very early development stages; lexical analyser and parser are coming along.
Update
The author (John Coiner) is temporarily unable to carry on developing Alice.
In the meantime, a copy of Alice is being held locally on the OpenCollector site.
